RANDO CAMASTA

Rando Camasta

The group started at the beginning of 2002 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, when the lead singer Rando Camasta joins the drummer Jesus Valenzuela to form a musical group. Later on they invited Isaac Torres, Eugenio Perez and Alfred Mc Spin to join them.

Tirelessly, the band dedicated themselves to the fusion of styles, as diverse as rock, funk, Latin, soul & jazz. At the end of 2006, produced by Rando Camasta, the band presents their first single “I feel” which was selected among the 25 best songs of 2006 by Radio Listin and X-102 in the Dominican Republic.

At the end of 2007, the band was chosen from thousands of bands from across Latin America to participate in the “combat zone” and appear at the MTV Awards Pre Party and Smirnoff.
In April 2008, the band presented the single ¨Alaska¨.

The singer Tutti Druyan began her career when she was just 3; this singer and actress began performing voices for cartoon movies in Israel, her homeland. When she was 12 years old, Tutti went on tour all over Israel and held presentations in the main theater houses as the main attraction. She was also the hostess to a children’s news show on TV.

At the present she is attending to Berklee College of Music.

JERRY MEDINA Y SU BANDA

Jerry Medina’s training and education is as diverse as his music. He grew up in New York listening to his mother Lydia Ortega playing the trumpet, while listening to gospel singers in the churches.

• Began his musical career with Nestor Torres

• In 1980, Jerry joined the orchestra of Ismael Miranda

• Later on, he became part of Batacumbele

Shortly before his debut as soloist with his album “Feelin’ Allright” with RMM label, Jerry Medina participated in the tour of Fania All Stars and was part of the Jazz Festival of the North Sea, in Holland. He visitad Spain, Italy, and France. He also visited Colombia and many African countries, with Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Sara Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Horace Silver, Mel Lewis and Airto Moreira.

Creating a connection between Caribbean folklore and Latin Jazz, this talented musician produced the single “Feeling Alright”, which has received positive comments from specialized critics.

Tes-A-T

The Christian musical group Tes-A-T began in Santo Domingo on September 15th., 1994. The members of this group were born in Christian homes and had basic musical education. They formed the gospel group in their church.

In 1997, the members of Tes-A-T decided to worship full time, and became part of the students at the Santo Domingo National Conservatory, to augment their knowledge and deliver a “Christ based” message, full of hope and love, with quality, freshness and contemporary music.

Tes-A-T is renowned for singing a capella, using their voices as musical instruments. Nevertheless, many of their recordings are made with a selected group of quality musicians.

At the present, the members of Tes-A-T are active members of the music World as composers, arrangers, choirs voices, recording voices for commercial spots and commercial recordings, and also teach singing and piano.
